Topographic Survey

The topographic survey is usually the first survey carried out for any new development on a site. The survey involves locating significant features, such as buildings, services, roads/driveways, trees and relating these to the site boundaries.

While the horizontal position of features are important to relate them to the boundaries, the vertical position or elevation, of the features and the ground are important to ensure compliance of any new development with Local Council rules and for architectural and engineering assessment and design. Depending on your requirements, we can provide site levels along the boundaries, or over the whole site, with countours generated from these levels.

The following links provide examples of both small and large scale topographic surveys carried out by 3rd Dimension. If you are looking to build or subdivide and need a topographic survey, please contact us with the details of the site.
